Our beautiful scarves are hand made on the loom by Breaking the Waves - Weaving, Zagreb, Croatia. Each scarf is real piece of art itself. Sanja, she creates and weaves authentic textiles on a traditional loom using natural materials. She explores the expressive potentials of textile fabrics by experimenting with different colours, materials and techniques. The idea is to combine both classical and unorthodox so by using old techniques she combines traditional fabrics with the ones like paper-cloth, lotus and fisherman’s net. The results of her work are compelling, functional and unique textile items.
